Stabilizers
Stabilizers provide heat stability to PVC during processing and ensure that the finished product is obtained with the required durability and weatherability.
PVC is thermally unstable at processing temperatures. PVC plastic can only be processed and moulded above 160?, and it starts thermal decomposition at 120-130?. It is start to release HCl gas. If the production of HCl is not controlled, the decomposition process intensifies, posing a significant challenge to the development and application of PVC plastic.
Heat Stabilizers are widely used in the construction-building industries, cable, pipe, window profile, technical profile, packaging, transparent film, edge banding, paneling, cable channel and telecommunication sectors.
These Stabilizers are also frequently used in semi-rigid and plasticized PVC applications, transparent packaging films and sheets, artificial leather, flooring, shoe soles and tent tarpaulin production.
